OK, we all have something(s) we just dont want to go down without. Im not talking about tank, reg, BC.... Im talking about things we have grown accustomed to that make ever dive a pleasent one. Imagine if you lost it.. Would you go out and get another?

I'll start.

I dont even want to imagine a dive without my Zeagle Ranger.

Cherry lifesavers...keep my mouth from getting dry during dives. Jolly Ranchers will work in a pinch.

My config is so minimal that there's nothing I could actually strip off and still dive. You ruled out BP/W, tank, reg, mask, fins, and exposure suit. I don't have anything else.

I like the cherry lifesaver post, I definitely will have to try that. I like to have my 3' chord of rope with a carabiner at each end that I use to hook to the anchor line around 15-20 feet to do my safety stop. When you're on a boat that has many divers and everyone is coming up at the same time, and everyone if trying to get to 17 feet plus or minus a couple feet, it's nice to be at the right level, 3 feet to the side of everyone at the correct depth not being crowded. Of course this is used on dives with some current when a group of people are all together.

I'm going to say my seacure mouthpiece is one thing I'd definitely run out and get another of if I ever lost it. Man I love that thing, definitely my favorite "unnecessary" addition to my gear.

I'm going to second the camera. I'll occasionally dive without it, but I'm usually not as happy. And If anything happened to it I would definitely replace it.
