An opportunity to brag on your gear!

OK, everyone likes to brag on thier gear, and I am hoping that can help me out. I am in the market for a complete set-up; BC, Reg, Octo, gauges, but I still haven't made up my mind yet (even though I have been able to narrow down my choices thanks to some of the posts I have found here) about what I want. So here is what I am asking, and completely biased opinions are just fine , hopefully your experiences can help me to make up my mind!

1. What do you dive: BCD, Regs, Gauges, etc.
2. Do you like it or not?
3. Why or why not?
4. Would you buy the same thing again?

Thanks!

used to dive with a Scubapro Knighthawk BC, Aqualung Titan LX, regular SPG/Gauges etc.

Recently upgraded with the help of ST, Zeagle Ranger BC, Oceanic Delta IV reg, Swivel 180 Octo, and a Oceanic Pro Plus Computer.

Love all the new gear, chose the console computer just for the fact that I was used to lookin gat the console for info, wanted AI ad didn't want to go to a remote transmitter/wrist computer yet.

The Zeagle with the ripcord system is great, and with the "yellow weight thingies" it's super easy to pull the weights reboarding, and I dont even need a weight bag to carry lead anymore.

1- I dive with twin ScubaPro Mk25 regs, long hose, SS backplate (with hog harness) with an Oxycheq Mach V ACU camo wing.

2- I LOVE my gear. My Mk25 regs are easy breathers, almost can't be over-breathed, and offer excellent hose routing options. The BP and harness put the weight right where it needs to be for proper trimming, and the harness is simple, durable, cheap, infinitely adustable and streamlined. The Oxyxheq wing is simple, robust, streamlined, and I just plain love the ACU camo pattern. The day I walked into ScubaToys and saw it sitting there on the floor I thought "I have to have THAT." I certainly wasn't planning on buying a wing that day.

4- Since none of this is my first gear purchase, I'd certainly buy it again. But the regs might be a tough call. While I love the MK25's, there are other great regs that are more user serviceable friendly.

1. What do you dive: BCD, Regs, Gauges, etc.
hammerhead bp + sta + OMS 32 lbs wing + Poseidon Xstream Deep all regs + OMS SPG.

2. Do you like it or not?
i love my set up. i'm not too happy about the hood (pinnacle hooded vest).

3. Why or why not?
because it fits well, regs breath well, easy to use. about the hood - i wish it would cover more of my face.

4. Would you buy the same thing again?
i'd go with Oxycheq wings instead but it's not to say that i'm not happy with OMS.

Zeagle Ranger LTD, Atomic T2, Scubapro Minigauges.

Yes, the BC is comfortable, the reg is extremely comfortable due to the swivel.

Definitely buy the reg again, I might buy a Brigade or a Stilletto instead. I bought the Ranger possibly for doubles and it has the big bladder(65lb.) so is kind of bulky to pack. I try to travel with one carryon and one checked bag so it's difficult to pack everything I take. The gauges I have mixed feelings about, they're small which I wanted, but harder to read.

I dive with a Scubapro MK25/S600 reg, Suunto Vyper computer, Scubapro Knighthawk BCD, Scubapro Jet Fins and a Waterproof Capri wetsuit. I like all of my gear but am considering trying some different fins. The Scubapro fins don't do well in the test results and I'm curious if I'd really notice a difference if I switched to say the Apollo fins.

Zeagle Brigade - Awesome rec BC and great for travel
Zeagle Envoy Deluxe - Great Breather
Zeagle Octo-Z - Great breather, and streamlined...
Oceanic Veo 180 - Entry NX computer, works great for me.

Would definately buy the same thing again. Although I may consider going AI down the road..

Oh, I'm so jealous. A drysuit is my next item to buy. Leaning towards BARE or DUI. Haven't decided. Let me know what you think of it.
