Perhaps i'm doing something wrong, but the forum search is not working for me.

for example i did a search for "Red" - e.g. Red Sea - and got no results.

any ideas?
(not about the Red Sea, but about using seach for the forums...)

I believe you have to use a search term that is more than 3 letters long. Try using "red*"

Well, it gives no results at all for "Red Sea"

a good search feature is critical. Especially with the number of threads/posts increasing rapidly.

I can never use the search and gt it to work for you. there should be a google for dummies book.

That is accurate... there is a 4 letter minimum set up for the search engine, but there is a way that we can over ride it and allow specific smaller words - and I'll try to get "red" and "sea" included in the available words sometime hopefully by tomorrow!

Type this in a Google search window:

Red site:forum.scubatoys.com

Actually this works for just about any 2 letter or longer term, just replace Red with what you're looking for...
