Posting question... please help

That's odd because, as I'm sure you know, your profile shows more. Maybe you would get a quicker answer if you posted this in the "bug report" section of the forum.

Not all of the forums count towards your posting totals. Since the posts are used to get gift certificates, only scuba related post count for the most part. Posts to forums like introducee yourself, fun and games, mans laws, etc. are not counted in the total.

If you take out your posts to mans law forum and introduce yourself forum, it matches your profile count

IndyDiver had the most obvious reson for posts not being counted.

IIRC - There is another thing that new members may notice. There is a delay on new members posts. The system delays your posts to verify that they are not SPAM. Once you have a certain number of posts you get moved over to the "trusted" list.

Actually not... they go up instantly as long as you don't have any "poisoned words" in them, or links to bad domains.

I wondered about that. Thanks for clarifying. But hey, the Man Laws forum is just too fun not to post in!
