Angry Scuba Toys & Oxycheq - Poor service

Not sure what's happening with Scuba Toys lately - the customer service is great when you want to buy kit, but completely dead when something goes wrong.

I bought an Oxycheq wing from ST four months ago and one of the clips on the harness broke. ST haven't answered a single one of my four emails and Oxycheq are no better - they suggested I go to Wal Mart for a 1" replacent for a 1 1/2" clip!

Buyer Beware!

OP is in UAE. The Call could be costly, lol.

Dyver. What "clip" are you talking about?

Surprises me. ST has always exceeded my expectations when solving any problems that arose with orders.

I'm curious as to what clip this is also.

Wouldn't be surprised if you're getting caught in their spam filters since you're e-mailing from overseas. Now that you're a member of the board (welcome, btw), send Joe a private message through the board. You KNOW he'll get that and I'll wager you'll hear from him within a day or less.

I don't think there is a clip on a wing. At least not what I would call a clip. Maybe that's the problem. If you could post a picture, then I'm sure that someone could help you.

I can't imagine why you aren't getting any response, ST has always gone out of their way to solve any issue that came up. I think zenagirl may have a point, try to PM Joe or Larry and I'm sure you'll get a quick response.

I would also suggest a PM to either Larry or Joe. I had a camera flood problem and they were right on it. They always treated me right.

Yea, I haven't seen any emails.... My email address is right in my sig, and if that is not getting through... a PM will work too... Just let us know what clip it is... maybe attach a photo, or a good description, and we can drop one to you no problem. Just let me know.
