I am sorry, I am using this thread to vent a little, lol...

My kiddo and I made a batch of cookies as a door prize for a school meeting that was held tonight for the kindergarten class. Well we spent this time making the cookies and my kid is very proud that we did it. The meeting is going good, the kids are all there and the drawing for our item comes up and this mom wins the cookies. Her response:

"Oh. I am not a cookie person....anyone want this stuff?" And then she got up and left the meeting (it was all done, but still; no thank you, and it had a rude tone to it). It made my kid feel bad because she thought the lady thinks we did a bad job. BLAH

Like the song says "God is great, beer is good and people are crazy". Just enjoy the cookies. I bet they are delicious.

Some people have no manners! Nothing like dashing the happiness of a poor kindergarten kid! I feel sorry for her child if that's how she reacts in public.

Cookies!!! Did you say Cookies???? If I was closer, I'd say "I'll bring the milk!"

Unfortunately, there are such inconsiderate folks in the world. I'd take the cookies home, have a neighborhood kid cookie fest and be done with it. Taking kiddo for ice cream is always good therapy too.

When my wife encounters people like this in school, she always says she feels sorry for the kid who got the mother who was born without the Mom Gene. (I believe it is often paired with the eye-in-the-back-of-the-head gene.)

You can never over-focus when cookies are involved.

Actually, I feel for rude mom's kids and their little corner of the world due to her actions. I honestly hope that caburrid's kiddo is not hurt too bad by this alleged mom's comments and will find some good with it.

I also agree with the lack of the mom gene!

And they're home made too.... mmmmmm.....

I'd ask for some to be sent down under, but I don't think they'd make it through quarantine though!
