OH YEAH, We forgot to tell you!

My wife thought she might check the status of our flight to Cozumel on Tuesday. Turns out American cancelled the flight. The lady on the phone was very nice, she gave us the option of leaving a day early or the day before we come back. We THINK we have somewhere to stay when we get there. Ah hell, its warm there right. Maybe we will just sleep on the beach.

Gotta love those airlines...NOT. I sign up for phone notification if there is a change. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. Have fun. JEALOUS.

I used to sign up for those, but it got really annoying to get phone calls in the airport telling me things I already knew: "Hi, this is Orbitz! Your flight has been delayed!" Me: "Gee, really? Is that why the plane didn't take off two hours ago? Thanks!"

I'll let you know when I get the notification. They said they had informed the travel agent. The message on their phone says they open at 10:00 Monday, just about the time we board in Dallas.

I was just in St. Croix and Air Tran canceled our return flight on Saturday and put us on a later flight. They did call us and tell us on Thursday and said there would be no charge for the change. We had a long layover between flights so it wasn't a major problem just meant we had a very long time in the airport in San Juan instead of Atlanta.

Ah, OK, that explains it. When I book the flights, I get the notification directly. When my travel agent at work books a flight, they get it and notify me. It is always slow to travel to me when they notify the TA. Good you know at least.

PACKRMAN - did they ever say why the flight was canceled? We're flying AA to Coz through Dallas in November, and I'm concerned maybe they're jacking around with the schedules ....
