Is there anyway to increase the time so the forum does not time you out. I have been in the middle of posting and walked away for a few minutes only to come back finish my post, try to post it to the forum and get kicked out being forced to log back in and retype the who post. I'm talking the span of minutes not hours ?

You have to retrieve a new cookie every 3600 seconds (1 Hour). If this is not the case in your situation I would not know what to tell you. But you could ask Larry, he probably knows, just shoot him a PM.

when you log in just check "remember me"

When I signed in from my home computer, I checked the "remember me" box. Have never gotten kick off or had to sign in again.

The only problem with that is that when you do check the site on a another compluter, you forget your password.

I log in on different computers and some kick me out and some I come back the next day and I am still logged in. I haven't looked at why but it may be the remember me box.
