What did I do with that little tiny violin??? Just kidding, I hate winter also even though I have a dry suit it still has a lot of draw backs. Not to worry though in a few years global warming will kick in in our area and we will be living in the tropics. Man property values will soar then.

Well, the ice wasn't as bad where I live as the predicted. Stayed a little farther north.
Still a little cold and rainy, but very little ice, and no I ce on the roads. I love the snow, my kids and I have a lot of fun in it, but I don't like the ice. Luckily we missed this batch of ice, guess I'll have to wait for the next one.

i'm here in OK with the ice and freezing rain.. woke up at 5:30 this a.m. to the sound of trees snapping from the ice..(quite an eerie sound too!) as of this afternoon, we've completely lost two large trees in our yard, and a neighbors large willow tree is leaning on our house... the neighborhood looks like a war zone! fortunately, we still have power, but a lot of areas around us have outages....and it's still raining!!
definitely a strong argument to move to florida! ![]()
