Angry HELP!!! Aeris Atmos AI Software Problem

Help!!! I've just purchased a laptop with Windows VISTA Premium on it, and now I can't seem to get the software for my DC to work. I've previously had it installed on a desktop with Windows XP, and I didn't have any issues with the program. Now I can't see any of the information unless it deals with the main diver information...everything else is black windows with boxes of information. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but everytime I do, I get the error message "you do not have an appropriate license to use this functionality." Does anyone have any answers to this problem, because I've tried contacting Aeris and haven't gotten any response yet to my emails.

I had the same problem, seems like a software update was what I had to do...

Yes, it's new software that you need. While mine is the oceanic one, I'll bet you can go to your dive computers website and get the identical thing from there. Might even be the same.

They are the same computer after all. It works fine under Vista unless for some reason it doesn't return from downloading the dives, then it's just locked up and you will have to hard power down the computer as you can't kill the Oceanic software, it won't die so it won't reboot or shutdown. I don't know if that's a Vista bug or not though.

Download what you need there. Probably the USB drivers and the software, it's big.

I agree that you shouldnt have a problem with the new software from the Aeris website. I downloaded it to my work PC which has vista on it and it works fine.
