Aeris Atmos2 computer from console to boot

So I just got my shiny new Aeris Atmos2 wrist boot computer kit in the post, and had a lovely hour trying to get my computer out of the console and into the boot.

Aeris at least had instructions on their website for removing my computer from the console.

But putting it in the boot... man. That kind of sucked.

However, for anyone looking for an inexpensive nitrox computer... last April I bought the computer alone from ST for, I think, $150. The wrist boot was another $29. Both, I think, had 10% off for being on ScubaBoard.

The computer is relatively easy to use, and Aeris puts the manual on their website as a .pdf (for global mobile types this is great). It has the standard features of any computer (I suppose). You can use either imperial or metric measurements, which is a good thing. You can do 12 or 24 hour time. You can do nitrox mix up to 40%. You can't do altitude adjustment, but so it goes. I'm at sea level now anyway, so this is a moot point.

Good computer setup, though, and inexpensive. Highly recommended.

Aeris computers are great !

The Atmos 2 does automatic altitude compensation . Check page 95 of the manual.

Well, I don't use altitude, so I won't worry about it. Stand corrected.
