I've been eyeing this one up: Oceanic Geo Wrist Computer, Dive Watches, Oceanic, Oceanic Geo Wrist Computer
It's got nitrox, user replaceable battery, backlight, and it's a pretty good price. It also has a small form factor. It is about the size of a large sports watch, instead of the big hockey puck sized units. My girlfriend dives this computer and she loves hers. Last edited by reactive : 04-13-2008 at 02:50 PM. |

Don't forget proximity of an authorised dealer in case you need to send it in, and the manufacturers reputation for customer service. It can make the difference between getting a brand new computer on warranty no questions asked when you have a problem, and getting the runaround for several weeks before they send it back to you saying we tested it and it works fine...
...Although buying from Scubatoys is a big advantage since they take good care of their customers, a good manufacturer will make it easier for them to take good care of you. Also consider the size of the display and numbers! Some computers are hard to read! Just food for thought! |
