Oceanic VT3 vs Aeris Elite T3

Is there a difference between the Oceanic VT3 and Aeris Elite T3, besides the obvious exterior? I was looking at buying the VT3, but after seeing the T3 I like its look better. So if they are the same then I'll just go with the T3. Was wondering if anyone knows for sure. Also is Oceanic and Aeris the same company? That might be a stupid question but their websites are almost exactly the same. It just seemed like more than a coincidence to me.

They are the same computer, just arranged a little different. I also went with the T3 because I liked the no-deco graph going across the front. I think it's a little easier for me to see. Think of Oceanic like the Ford Taurus, and Aeris like the Mercury Sable. Same platform with just some cosmetic changes.

The Oceanic VT3 does have a dedicated estimated air time remaining that the T3 doesn't, but I don't think that's a big deal. The both have dive time remaining, and that's more important anyway unless you are doing deco dives.

ditto the comments. I have had great luck with customer service reps.
