Hmm... I didnt see that

Im sure you could write one..

I dont know what kind of programs you would want to write.. maybe make a digital log book, but I wouldn't want to bring my iPhone onto a boat.

My contract with Verizon ends in a few weeks and I was planning to move to ATT and get an IPhone. Then, I realized that the monthly contract for one is at least $30 more than for a regular cell phone. Since I don't want to use my phone for email and/or internet access, it's hard to justify the additional money per month....just to have a really cool phone.

I'm still switching to ATT 'cause I like the idea of rollover minutes. My two 20-something sons will probably get the IPhones...now I have to figure out the "coolest" phone that just makes phone calls and hold my contact list.

Oh, well.

I just looked at the app..

It doesnt seem very helpful to divers unless you fill the tank yourself..its especially not worth the 6 dollars since you can just write a simple java program to do it.

Rollover minutes are great. My husband, mom, and brother are all on AT&T so I have the smallest plan available (750 minutes to share between myself and my husband) and only use about half my minutes. I have somewhere around 3000 rollover minutes saved up. In the past it's been great because if I for some reason talk for a long time with someone not on AT&T I don't have to worry about it. 4 times out of 5 though, they go the full year and expire without me using them. At least I've NEVER had to pay for going over my minutes!

I'm thinking about getting an iPhone. The price makes it very, very tempting and I've been out of my contract for over a year, so the ability to get a cool phone without getting back into a contract. I'd been looking at switching to Verizon and getting an LG Voyager, but it's the same price as an iPhone and requires a 2 year contract to get that price.

Right now I've got a Moto Razr, which is a good basic phone but Moto's are way too buggy for me. I'm on my 5th Moto in 3 1/2 years (2 v400s, a v553, a v557 and now a Razr i3, I think), and only one of them was replaced due to it breaking rather than a software issue - it was a v553 that was broken in a car accident. I only have the Razr cause it was free when my brother got AT&T and he bought an AT&T Tilt a month later on DoD discount.
