That would be kickass... I love my blackberry... I've used just about every other pda type device and nothing beats the ruggedness and reliability of my blackberry... it also uses the most widely developed platform out there - java... but, I just don't know of anyone that's written dive software in mobile java...

Hopefully we can change that last sentence there.

In fact, I think I may call him now.

What I'm thinking is I'll offer to pay him to initially develop it if he wants. Then maybe he and I can offer it to others through Crackberry for $5 for a basic version and keep working on it as time allows and offer better versions for either an upgrade price or a full price later. I'm not sure, but I'm going to find out.

I'll let you guys know what I find out.

Brandon

Blackberry works on Blackberry, so PocketPC or WM versions of software won't work.

And thus I'm trying to find something! Well... I was. Truly I'm now content with just using my laptop and the Oceanlog software that came with my Geo. I'm glad I got the cable... definitely worth it (if you buy it at the same time as your computer and get a discount on it) despite still being overpriced for no more than it is.
