Any pictures of those colourful zeagle dive computers?

Best comp out there that meets you list is probably the Uwatec Galileo Sol.

Drop the wireless AI requirement, and the Liquidvision X1 is the winner.

They're fairly close in price... not cheap.
How many dives do you have on the Liquidvision X1? What makes it the best pick in dive computers?
None, personally... I dive a SmartTec. I've seen the X1 display, though, and it's simply stunning. Add the ability to match profiles to V-planner and it's hard to beat.

For me, I still prefer the AI option, so it's not for me, yet. Can't bring myself to drop the coin on the Galileo, though, when there's nothing wrong with my SmartTec.

Mo2vation and LCF have posted some very interesting reviews on the X1 on DiveMatrix if you're looking for more info.

Lots of good computers out there. Just traded my Smartcom for the VT3 with the transmitter and SPG gauge, can't go wrong with it. Would love to get the Galileo though, stainless steel beauty on it especially the super large numbers on it is what sells me out. Only problem? Try $2,000...but hey, its one of the top of the line computers, does multi-gas, and has a heart beat monitor, I could do cardio underwater now!

But all in all, if the budget goes for something simple and not intending on doing multi-gas, then the computer is a waste of money give you don't have alot of money. If diving just two or three times a year, then the computer isn't worth it because it will just be in the closet dying to be in the water until the next vacation. Thats why I don't sell scuba stuff to vacation divers.

But there are many other computers and magazine that give monthly reviews so check it out, and take the time to find the right dive computer.

I still like the VR3. It has a color option and multiple models as well. Have 5 years worth of diving on mine and its model agrees with me - always the most important consideration.

I've just spent two weeks doing various profile sport and tec dives (max depth 60+m on the Coolidge) and I'm still in love with my Liquivision. There's no need to hit a backlight button to view it in the dark, it's extremely easy to read at any depth. The tapping instead of buttons is also so easy and intuitive to enter and scroll through the menus when needed during a dive (change gas, add a gas, Lost gas, deco table,.... etc)

For non deco dives it was a little bit more conservative than my Vytec DS (with the VPlanner Live conservatism setting on +2) but for deco, Multi gas technical dives it cleared much faster than the Vytec. At least the difference in the computers gives you something to pronder whilst doing a long deco stop. I'm told that the AI option should be out mid next year.

We've had the VR3 for a while, and it's a very nice unit. Joey and I did check out the Liquidvision at Dema, and we're getting set up for those - and they should arrive in the next few weeks - very bright display, and the tapping thing seems like it will be neat - just take a bit to get the hang of it.

Its Liquivision guys. Not Liquidvision

If I had the $$$$ for a new computer it would be the Shearwater Pursuit Shearwater Research - Shearwater Pursuit SPOT
