Question Latest Dive Computers???

Zeagle is coming out with a new full color dive computer supposed to be very easy to use, very easy to read. Any other fancy new computers coming?

I am looking for an easy to read easy to use hoseless computer and wondering if I should hang on for the stuff coming or buy now.

What do you think? What do you know about what is coming down the pipe?

You can play that game forever.

Best comp out there that meets you list is probably the Uwatec Galileo Sol.

Drop the wireless AI requirement, and the Liquidvision X1 is the winner.

They're fairly close in price... not cheap.

Our gear is looking more and more similar. just bought a 119 HP Nitrox tank.

Where can I find the roll up pocket snorkel?? The folding snorkel I have now has a corrigated hose and doesn't clear well.

The Tilos rollup one? I got mine at my LDS, but I think DiveSports carries them.

That said, the Tilos snorkel is pretty crappy. It serves as "lip service" to the PADI requirements about carrying a snorkel when I'm DMing classes. (A pocket snorkel meets the requirement, and this is the smallest one I could find.) I'd not be very happy with it if I was in conditions that were bad enough that I would actually consider deploying a snorkel (and didn't have a better option).

The Oceanic Pocket Snorkel is the best folding snorkel I've ever used (as a real snorkel), but it's a lot bigger in your pocket.

How many dives do you have on the Liquidvision X1? What makes it the best pick in dive computers?

Isn't the X1 the latest tri-mix rebreather computer?

That's pretty big "thumbs up" in my book. Been out for over a year now, and I haven't read anything bad about it.

It is relatively new on the public market.....has been designed with technical divers in mind. Was hoping to get another owners persl. insight as to why they feel it is the 'best' available dive computer. I have played with one but never owned and dove the X1.
