Wrist computer - bungee??

I'm getting a wrist computer and I've read a bit about how you should put it on a bungee cord around your wrist rather than the strap in comes with, in case the strap breaks and you loose it.

I can't find anything on google on where to find these, or how to make them.

Any ideas??

Many online retailers have them, I know deep sea supply does. Can even get stuff at walmart..
