I am happy with mine. Here's a post I wrote about the Geo: Need Advice On These 3 Comps
I responded later in the thread regarding my experiences with it in colder, darker waters. There are several other great, basic, computers available as well - although Scuba gear in general is expensive, it's pretty amazing the functionality available in compact, recreational computers at accessible prices. |

I think the greatest virtue of the Geo is it's value for money. It has got all the functions that you need and is priced very competitively. I have no issues with the display but I think that is relative for every individual.

I have one and dive with it frequently. The pluses: Good sized display, easy to use the functions, is nitrox capable, back lit and computer down loadable.
the minuses: You have to press buttons to see your cns % bar - not that it's a big deal, but a bother. The geo is also only a watch, you can't add it to a console if you want to go that route. blue37: How do you bungee a Geo?

I had to take out the pins to add the velcro strap... you could use small diameter bungee cord and work under the pins. |

Just remove the pins and straps, and work bungee under the pins while reinstalling. I did mine pretty quickly and easily. Pics of mine, as well as a friend of CompuDude's bungeed wrist comp, in this thread: Attaching bungee straps

My wife uses the Geo and is pretty happy with it. IMO the numbers are pretty large for a wrist watch style computer. The numbers are bigger than those on my Citizen Cyber Aqualand Nx. I personally like my Citizen better than my wife's Geo, but I'm sure that's just because that's what I'm used to. The Geo should handle anything a recreational diver needs. Bottom line... If you buy it, I doubt you will regret it.
