What is the group concensus on how conservative/liberal this DC is? I've seen it listed as fairly liberal (adjustable with conservative level setting) but once or twice it has been listed as conservative also.

Any thoughts?

for reference it lists 60 ft with 21% NDL of 45min....seems very conservative

Well, it's more conservative than my Genesis ReAct Pro, but it more liberal than the suuntos (from what I have heard, I don't own one)

I wouldn't worry too much about liberal vs conservative. It's only a few minutes difference on NDLs. The IQ-700 is the same computer as my DiveRite DUO. It's a nice computer.

My experience with this computer is that it is a little on the conservative side. I have had the NDL alarm go off at 2 minutes while my dive buddy's still said 12 minutes. Granted, that lone example was on a deep dive with 100s, but my general experience with this computer is that I have run out of air before I have run out of bottom time. Introduce nitrox into the equation and it becomes a relative non-issue.

I own one and happy with it. It has a very similar decompression model as a mares nemo wide, which I also dive with

Yea... I'd toss it in the conservative side.
