Scubapro Extender

I have a Scubapro Extender that I wear while diving and as a watch when not diving. I am very happy with this computer but a downside is that the wrist strap is not long enough to wear the computer over the sleaves of a 5 mill wetsuit.

Does anybody know how to solve this issue, are there maybe any wrist consoles on the market that could house the Extender?

Few things you can try:

1. Get another watch band with a similar sized latch. You can use the extra watch band as an extension. The end with the latch will go onto your watch band where the holes are. Next pop a few holes in the extension and attach to your watch band on the latch side.

2. Remove the pins from your watch band and put two bungee straps in place of the band. Might wear out the pin holes if you are constantly switching between bungees and strap though.

3. Sew up a neoprene cuff. Remove your watch straps and sew your watch directly onto the cuff.

Option #3 sounds pretty good.
Might have a double layer neoprene cuff made that folds open and houses the watch with the straps in velcro. So then it can hold the straps while the actual latch is not engaged.
Have to talk with my 'neoprene guy.'

I never trust rubber straps. (Bungees are great, especially if you do two independent loops, but for my watch, it's always one of these for me.) They make super long ones as well for use over drysuit sleeves, even. Make want to call and ask to be sure you get the right one.

I was going to suggest this as well. They are great. I have one for my Citizen Aqualand and the really nice thing is that the way these work. Even if 1 pin breaks, you don't lose your watch like a typical band. Nice, especially for an expensive watch.

Yep, that's what I need at a very good price.
In fact I already have replaced my rubber strap once before because I discovered a small tear in it (US$ 65.- for a new Extender strap...)
