Linux software for Suunto D6?

Does anyone know a good (and preferably free as in beer) dive log software for the D6 that runs in Linux? I already know where to get the Linux USB drivers for my USB cable, I only need the dive log software.

As a 2nd option, has anyone tried running the Suunto software from inside a virtual machine in a Linux box and been able to successfully connect to a Suunto dc? Haven't tried this yet, but it may also be an option.

I'm fairly certain it does. I used it to run a webcam program we setup on a linux box at work last year to use as a security camera to catch a suspected thief in our office.

I installed Wine, SDM and MDAC. No go so far, a lot of database errors on startup and it will not run. SDM seems to use MS Jet database. Still trying...
