Absolutely. The 100NX is a great starter computer. It does air or Nitrox. It's only one button so it's pretty easy to navigate and scroll through. Downside is there are no depth alarms, so watch your depth.

It will do what you need a computer to do. Will you want more bells and whistles going forward? Certainly. Can you outgrown it? It depends where you are going to grow with your diving. I'd certainly keep in the future as a backup.

And its one less thing you need in your package...You can look at other items to add/upgrade there!

Chewyjr15- I bought one recently and got to break it in this past weekend at Lake Travis during AOW dives- LOVE IT! I have the wrist mount which is way easier to review later on in between dives, a few folks there had computers in their spg's and had to remove their regulator setups to review it. Plus, when you're hovering at 15' for your safety stop easier to read your wrist then pull your spg up, just my humble opinion mind you. I loved it, I too have the 100Nx, very simple to operate and will hold 12 dives.
