Timex Helix
Just curious I bought this dive watch off ebay 2 months ago for $20 and have taken it on several dives and this this is just as accurate as my $600 Tusa computer so what gives and dose any one else use this as a back up or as a primary depth gage?

I use one as a timer sometimes too. My only complaint is that the wrist band isn't made to fit a large guy wearing exposure protection. It's on the last hole when I wear it on my bare wrist... with a 7mm wetsuit, 5mm gloves, or a drysuit? Forget it.

I use one as a backup and it works flawlessly. I have even pushed the button underwater to turn on the light. Here is a link to the manual, http://thejonesnetwork.net/misc/Helix.pdf
