How to clip/retract my computer
I have the aeris atmos 2
http://www.scubatoys.com/store/detai...D=Atmos22Gauge with the compass and knife on the back so I have no where to attach a clip. The only thing I can think of is to put a key ring or carabiner on the hose and attach a clip/retractor to that. |

How I do mine is I have one of the split rings going to a male clip: http://scubatoys.com/store/detail.asp?PRODUCT_ID=QRBSP8 and I thread the split ring onto one of those posts that go from the gauge part - up to the computer part... Where that hole is on each side in the middle there. Then I have a female clip on my BC and I just snap it up.
As another note - you can choose which side you want to thread. If you do it on the right side of the gauge (as your looking at it) then the console will hang with gauges out, and you can just tilt it to see without having to unclip. But if you are doing a lot of diving in conditions where it might get scratched up, you can run the split ring on the left side, and then the gauge will have a tendency of hanging with the gauges toward you which, while less convenient, will protect them better. But I do the first way.. |

I use something like this
http://scubatoys.com/store/detail.asp?PRODUCT_ID=BCLN1 on the post on the gauges and attach it to a chest d-ring. |

I have this retractor:
http://scubatoys.com/store/detail.as...UCT_ID=RC002HF Instead of threading the keyring, I use a zip tie. Same application, but it reduces the length from BC to guage by just over an inch, and takes out some of the flop.

![]() Seriously, I connect mine the same way and have for several years. Also, it isn't like you will lose the console even if that post were to break. |
