Need some advice...

So now i own all the basic dive gear...and next im looking to get a dive computer... any suggestions?? a few of my friends have the suunto mosquito and really like it alot...

i really dont wanna spend more than 500 bucks (because it takes me alot of work to make 500 bucks to spend on something other than car insurance or gas money)

...any thoughts?

Depends on whether you want wrist or console. If looking for something like a mosquito, I prefer the Oceanic Geo http://www.scubatoys.com/store/detai...=GEOWristwatch which with your discount for being on the board, and your $10 gift certificate you'll have soon... you're looking more like $350...

Gives you all the features you need including nitrox for now.. .or later.

I have a Suunto Gecko and love it. I put it on my wrist most of the time, but when I'm using my scooter I mount it to the scooter. This way it's easy to maintain depth. I've put about 50 dives on it so far and no complaints. It's not air-integrated but I just use a small SPG for that.
