Cochran computers

I've got an old regualar air cochran computer and was thinking of upgrading. Does anyone have any experience with their newer models. Also I've heard that they take trade in's, does anyone now if this is true?

It's true they won't take trade ins, I have an EMC 20-H I like it easy to use nice big numbers to read underwater. I am also looking to sell it since my new rebreather came with electronics. If you'd like some pics email me.

Sorry, but the Cochran web site says they do:

...right at the top center of the page.

I think they actually upgrade your old computer if possible. If it is an off brand they do accept trade ins. Actually you use to be able to get an estimate of what it was worth on line.

My Nemisis IIa went out recently. Keep reading the tank level at increasingly larger numbers. By the end of the dive it would show roughly 6000psi in my tank. It did that for a while then the WU started shutting down in the middle of the dive. I replaced batts. spent 30-45 mins on the phone with their service depart. Basically it's shot and can not be repaired. They offered me a 200 trade in on a 1900 unit or 100 on a 1500 set up.

Even though it wasn't mine I used a newer Cochran. I liked the bigger numbers. The owner said that he hated the fact that you have to use soemthing metal to access the info. He showed me what he meant and it did seem to be a pain.
