Computer- HELP!

Hello.
I need some advice. I live in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
I had a Suunto Mosquito, but it was stolen and now I need to substitute it.
But I can,t spend much. How to choose one?
  1. Mares Nemo Sport Computer
  2. Aeris Manta Dive Computer
  3. Aeris XR-1 NX Wrist Dive Computer
  4. AERIS XR-2 Wrist Dive Computer
  5. Oceanic Geo Wrist Computer
  6. Mares Mission Puck Wrist Nitrox Computer
  7. Oceanic VEO 250 Nitrox Computer
  8. Dive Rite NiTek Duo Wrist Computer
  9. Mares M2 Nitrox / Air Dive Computer
Which to choose?

Thanks a lot for any help.

Tell us what sort of diving you do:

Nitrox? Cave/cavern/wreck penetration? Open water only? Dives requiring decompression?

Those answers could help in determining what best helps you in your decision.

Since oceanic came out with the new GEO colors, we got a great deal by buying up their remaining stock of their present blue ones... and we've got them for under 300 bucks. Great little computer with a lot of functionality:

Oceanic Geo Wrist Computer, Dive Watches, Oceanic, Oceanic Geo Wrist Computer

Larry's suggestion sounds like a winner based on your current certs and need for economy...plus, it looks like you can wear it as a watch, so the theft factor will be much lower compared to your prior computer.

Hope this helps!

I've been eying the Oceanic GEOs for the wife and I for a couple of weeks now but was holding off due to getting hit pretty hard with our taxes. I may have to bite the bullet anyway because that's a sweet offer. Curse you Scuba Toys!!!

Best two computers in that list are the:

# Oceanic VEO 250 Nitrox Computer
# Dive Rite NiTek Duo Wrist Computer

Either would work well. (I forget the Aeris that is a clone of the Veo 250, but that one would be fine, too, since they're the same computer)

Consider the Zeagle instead of the DiveRite if you decide to go that route. It's the same computer, but a few bucks cheaper and with twice the warranty.
