Just Purchased The Tusa Iq-800 Dive Computer And Love The Thing, What I Dont Love Is The Download Cable For It, Is Riddiculously Expensive. Was Wondering If Anyone Knew Where I Could Purchase One At A Decent Price Or Maybe Someone Had One For Sale? Anything Would Be Much Appreciated....

You could try that, if the voltage across the contacts is 3v, or just look on st and ebay.

Although I'm really not sure if the DIY-interface also works with the IQ-800, it's worth trying!

From the pictures of the interface, it looks like there are only 2 connection pins. Next step is to put the IQ800 into PC-mode and measure the voltage (with a voltmeter) accross the contacts. If this is about 3.0 volts, the interface might actually work. Be VERY carefull to connect the interface with the CORRECT POLARITY to the divecomputer (check with voltmeter).
