Best Months for Diving Weather

I want to dive Cozumel sometime in the next six months or so. Could I get some insight into seasonal weather. Would like to avoid high winds and currents if possible.

My boyfriend and I went in late June and it was wonderful. It was the start of hurricane season and we happen to just miss one (we caught some rain but missed the hurricane by less than a week). When we go back we'll be going in either March or April though. The dive shops and other divers I met there said Spring time is nice (and a few really liked Dec.-Feb. too). Have fun...it was my best dive trip yet and I can't wait to go back!

Jan-Mar is very nice, especially if you live somewhere that experiences nasty winters!! We were there last October, during Halloween, and missed three days of diving due to high winds. Currents weren't really affected by it though. Headed back in 15 days and hope it's not going to be a repeat.

I really like May, no hurricanes and it's not too hot yet.

Have gone in Jan and unfortunately hit a norte.
