We're thinking about it....At the very least, there will be the new year's day dive as well as DDCN annual Blizzard and dive in either Feb or early Mar.

Do most DDCN divers dive dry for this event or just suck it up and go with wetsuits?

I would say about 75% dive dry, 25% wet.
Last Feb I know my two dive buddies & I were diving wet.
Navy was also one of the wetsuit divers.
It was much colder out of the water than in it.

I think I might have been the sole female wetsuit diver at that event (the blizzard)-not hard to know since there were only, what, 3 or 4 of us (female).

I dove it dry but the real problem was once out of the water breaking down your gear (if needed) before it froze together. As I recall, Everyone found the wood stove pretty quickly wet or dry.

I dove this past weekend when the air was around 50 and it was much nicer in the water. The surface interval itself pushed me a little closer to breaking down and getting a drysuit.

The event sounds fun though, I'll have to check it out this time around.
