Corrugated hose

Recently bought my gear and I purchased a Dive Rite Classic 360. Dove it for the first time Easter weekend and one of the 1 of 2 problems was the corrugated hose was about 5 inches to short and kept going behind my head. So my question is why would Dive Rite only put a 13" hose on there wing? Has anyone else ran into that problem?

Other problem was my right shoulder strap became really tight somehow but the owner of the LDS and owner of the quarry gave me a retainer to put on the nylon webbing to keep it from coming loose.

Solution to problem two

usually they are around 12 and you need to put some bungee around your shoulder strap to hold it there, trust me a long one is annoying too

Agree with rox - you should have a piece of bungee or other "loop" to keep the corrugated hose in contact with the shoulder strap webbing.

I use a piece of inner tube and run the low pressure inflator hose through it. This keeps the corrugated hose in place.

is it long enough for you to orally inflate?
also you might want to try installing that tri-glide like this:

Does that side ever get cluttered?
I usually use a piece of inner tube to keep my back up light strapped on that side as well.

with the shorter corregated hose the inflator should sit above the dring, most people I have seen bungee their lights below the dring, that being said I have seen people do the opposite.

I also have a back-up light on that side. The inner tube piece is above the first D-ring on the left shoulder that secures the low pressure inflator hose / corrugated hose. The flash light is attached to the D-ring by a bolt snap and hangs below it. It too is secured to the webbing by a piece of inner tube so it doesn't dangle.

Properly attached, the backup light on the left bp/w harness strap should be well below any area that would interfere with the inflator hose.

To the OP: Triglides installed at the back of the plate, like in the photo LiteHedded posted above, will eliminate any slipping of the harness. Simple, cheap, and effective.
