That link is for the Deluxe Harness, though, not the TransPlate.

If you still need help let me know and I'll see if I can take a photo of mine when I get home tonight.

Assembly of the TransPlate sucks. I'm glad my LDS did it for me.

Assembly of hog harnesses, however, is quite easy by comparison...

Yep, at the risk of sounding like the typical scubaboard user, "the hog rig is easier and better." Something to consider trying as all it is is a bunch of 2" webbing. My buddy has a source for the webbing on the cheap. If you need some pm me and I will hook you up with him.

trough that posted link, i cut the http down some and found the transplate manual, in color, so now it makes a bit more sense to me... i did it almost right... but it did work in the pool last night, and i even walked trough the house with it not falling apart. so im not too far off!

the reason i avoided a reg. hog harness is that i shore dive a bunch now, and like to have some padding on my shoulder as i walk down the beach.

thanks.

It took me about 3 hours to assemble my Transplate. I had to use the instructions of the internet to see the proper way to place the strapping. I then did not install the lumber pad first and had to pull it apart and re-string it.
