DIR in Georgia

Does anyone know if the DIR Fundamentals class is ever offered/conducted in Georgia? Tried calling GUE, but haven't heard back yet. I'm a new diver and looking to take the class sooner rather than later so that I don't have to undo bad habits down the road. Thanks.

Here's a group you may want to hook up with. They're on Scubaboard as well. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/DIR_Atlanta/

Good luck
Mike

the best way is if you have 3-4 divers that want to take the course go to this link http://www.gue.com/Training/Instructors/index.html and contact instuctors that are close to you and see if the are willing to come out and teach a class they generally split their cost between the divers taking the class when I took mine here in Arizona we had an instuctor come out from Washington to teach the class we all split the cost of his flight/hotel most will be willing to stay with a diver if you have spare room!

I agree with mm dm. Contact the Atlanta DIR club guys. They are all very nice guys, dedicated to DIR and very good divers. Diving with them will help you immensely and prepare you for the DIR-F course.
