BP/W Comfort

2 inch soft webbing for crotch strap. I've been diving in rash guard shorts in my bp/w and never felt the strap. If the shoulder harness and waist strap are in the right place, the crotch strap is almost not even needed anyway.

I don't notice the crotch strap at all.

I was going through skydive training. As I was rigging up to get on the plane a buddy was grilling me on what to do in different emergency drills ie: line over, snivle, twisted lines, etc. Then he asked me about OBP. I just gave him a dumb look. What's OBP? I don't remember that from class! He then informed me that OBP is optimum ball position. You don't want to have one caught under a leg strap when that chute opens

Padded Crotch Strap

See the padding on the 2" strap? It's neoprene....super comfy.


Infact, my crotch strap is so comfy sometimes I wear it out to dinner parties without noticing.

We should definitely change crotch strap to "CS" - seriously - someone should search this post and see how many times "crotch" has been said - I think that most web-surfing/child filters would reject this site

I've managed to convince him to try a BP/W in the water next weekend thanks to all your input, and I'll be sure to inform him about OBP before then

Assuming that you are diving a single tank you may not even need the crotch strap. A buddy of mine took his off and does not miss it.

I use a 2" strap,never been a problem

I've used the BP/W in the pool and on a dive on Saturday now and I love it. My husband has been convinced by you guys to try one next weekend
