is there a shoulder pad that has a strap to hold back the infration hose?

Hey guys,

I'm diving a Oxycheq BPW with hog harness. The inflation hose is dangling around when i dive. well, normally it would not be a problem if i dive a 3mm or thinner wetsuit, since i can reach my back easily to locate the hose.

The problem is that when i dive a 7mm suit... i can hardly reach my back to locate the inflation hose.... that dangerous

is there any shoulder pad for the harness... that comes together with a strap or something to hold against the inflation hose?

thanks

Add a small piece of bungee near the left chest D-ring. You can find a piece for less than a dollar at a outdoor store (REI) or Marine store (West Marine, Boaters World) and probably some at a local hardware store.

I have a big o-ring by my left chest D-ring that keeps my power inflater where it belongs. It is not overly tight so I have no problems getting it out if I need to.

I accomplish the same thing with slices taken out of a bicycle innertube, but since that rubber seems to break down quickly in salt water, I may be switching to the arrangement Fireflock suggested.

That's the standard method. Halcyon's newer rigs use the big o-ring method to accomplish the same thing.

I use the bungee method on both my OxyCheq and DiveRite rigs.
