I find this conversation very amusing as I have done all my diving in the Puget Sound. The warmest the water temp has been was 59 degrees and the most recent dive (Nov 16, 2007) had the water temp at 53 degrees.

400 feet in CCRs sounds technical!

They should know enough to wear the right exposure protection....

I'm pretty sure this was a "catch" dive for a couple of biologists, and they were not expecting these bottom temps/thermoclines at all.
