This may sound like a stupid question. But, here it goes... Is the hose too short while in the water or when you are standing with the rig on your back?
I opted for a shorter LP inflator hose when I purchased my Diverite wing. The hose is plenty long to get to my mouth for manual inflation. It does not need to be any longer than that. JM2c

That's unusual... most complaints I've seen have been that DiveRite hoses are too long, if anything. I would be surprised that you need it longer still. Corrugated inflator hoses are quite often a lot longer than they need to be... give it time to get used to the shorter length, and you might find you prefer it.

All BCs and wings come with their own inflator hose, precisely because there's no standard length for the corrugated hose... pretty much every company does it differently, within a certain range. Did you buy your wings used or something, and the seller did not include the hose the wing was supposed to come with? I'd contact the seller and see if they'll rectify the situation. And if you bought it new and didn't come with one, contact the shop you bought it from and let them know parts are missing. At any rate, you can always just buy a new LP hose. Give ScubaToys a call (or pretty much any shop) and they can sell you a hose that is the correct length for your wing. |

My DSS wing came with a LP hose that actually fits and works well on doubles, but on a single the LP hose is a bit long and you can see it sort of loops a bit. It doesn't do that on my doubles.

If you are looking for a low pressure inflator hose, try these guys: TECHDIVINGLIMITED.COM
If you are looking for a corrugated hose, try these guys: Dive Rite Express
