Stupid question about reg assembly

I need to know if you attach the computer/gauge console to the high pressure of the low pressure port. Sorry of my ignorance.

I don't think the hose will fit in the wrong port, although I've never tried to be sure.

Regardless, if the device is meant to read the pressure of the tank, it needs to see the full pressure. So assuming your gauge (or computer) console includes SPG/pressure readout, yes, hook it's HP hose to the high pressure port on your first stage.

It'd have to be really really old to have the same connections on LP and HP, so essentially when you attach it to the HP port that will be the only one it fits. It should also be the one labeled HP.

I didn't know that. (I don't own my own regs). It is good to hear that they make it at least a little stupid proof. (Although now that I said that someone is going to go and do something to prove me wrong...)

Yup - high pressure port... so you can actually tell what the pressure is in your tank. The LP ports are where the 1st stage is reducing the pressure between the tanks and the hose. HP hoses are a straight shot into the tank.

Also, the HP hose will have a REALLY miniscule opening in it.
