Looking for info

I own a pair of 8" diameter 130cft HP tanks. I love them except for 1 thing. On dive boats, the bottom of the tank won't drop down into the circular slots for tanks. The top is usually ok, due to that being bungie cords.

What I need are tank boots that will attach firmly to the bottom of the 8" tanks, then neck down to 7" to fit into the dive boat slots. ANyone got any really good ideas for this?

You will have to describe your boat's tank holder set up. It's not like I've seen on other boats. But I do have 2 of those 8" tanks (Faber LP95) and one has a boot that might do what you want. It necks down to a base that I'm sure is smaller then an AL80's boot diameter.

There is a shop near me that sells them but I don't know how you'd get one. Maybe the manufacurer's name is molded on the bottom. I'll look. I'm diving with that tank tonight after I get off work.

Sounds like what I am looking for.
