gear pockets.

anybody ever made a thigh pocket or bellows pocket similar to the ones dive rite and oms offer. I am thinking of makeing one for myself and wondering how they work out in the field? How hard was it to construct? And do you have a pattern or any advice for sombody considering makeing one of these.

I wanted to revive this topic, because i think that a thigh mounted rig would be useful.. mean, if the military make there standard issue pants with them, they might have a good idea

Thats pretty much the same thing...

Dump pouches are really big and spacious. You can fit so much in there... The only way I can see making a thigh pouch is if you are good at sewing, but for the amount of time it will take, I would rather buy a dump pouch.
