When I was a lot younger ok about 15 years ago but I have since grown up. A lot! I made a hard hat out of a 5 gallon bucket some plastic glass, rubber cement and a old garden hose and some webbing to hold under my arms. Then I jumped in to the pool. Only to about 8 foot. It worked like a charm for a few then as I moved it quickly filled with water and that ended that. I swam to the surface where my father quickly took my death trap and made in to mulch. How I got away making this and him not seeing it I will never know.
As for FD SCBA I do know that someone in a county I used to be a volunteer with fell in to in indoor pool. It was not very deep but keeping is mask on saved his no swiming life. |
