Out of air, no buddy? No problem build one of these.....

Came across this DIY underwater robot project that cost no more then $250 (US) and felt you lot would be interested

If I ran out of air, I really don't think I could build that robot and send it for an extra tank before i would drown.

I'd rather buy a 40cf tank, regs for the tank and a set of double regs..... wait... it's 250? Add another 150.00 and that's what I did.

there was an article in my old robotics class where a school used pvc, the obvious electronics, and tampons to make a dpv

If I was out of air, I would rather not have this thing buzzing around me filming everything...but that's just me though

Cool ROV-looks like a good way to pass the time during the off season.

I built an ROV last year. It was pretty awesome, and it won first place.

for some reason it isn't letting me copy a link to the individual picture
but the picture is DSC03422
on this page
http://marinetech.org/rov_competitio...%20Pg%205.html

my ROV is the big black one with yellow cameras

there is also a picture of the divers near the bottom of the page.
