That was a picture from about a year ago, when I first got back into diving. In the past year I have added 3 divers to the household, a second gear locker, and I'm thinking I need to build a THIRD locker to hold all the gear I now have.

I really like the design. I'll have to give some serious consideration to whether I can fit something like that in my condo somewhere.
Question: Is there any concern that the main crossbar (holding all that heavy stuff on hangers) is only held onto the structure by two bolts on each side... which go through the soft rubbermaid plastic walls? I'd imagine there is a good amount of friction adding to the support, assuming you really cranked down the bolts, but it still gave me pause when I thought about that. |
