I took a pair of the dense foam tank holders and glued them to a small sheet of plywood. I then nailed a 2x6 on the bottom of the sheet for the tanks to rest on.

I lay this in the back of my SUV and carry 3 tanks on it. They don't roll around, slide, or bang into each other. When I go to the LDS for air fills I use it to roll all three tanks into the shop at once using a HD folding luggage carrier (tanks strapped in place of course). Works great.

First off I really enjoy making stuff for diving, it keeps me sane during surface intervals. I have had heaps of little projects. But probably my collapsible hand cart (bought) with a rack that secures the tanks and still allows the trolley to fold flat when not in use and can serve as a tank rack for the car when flat.

Now I really enjoyed these posts! I thought I was smart having the wife sew a hunk of velcro on vest to keep inflator hose in check.
I have a Stanley rolling tool box that I just use to keep a few rolls of wire, I'll just take the wire out and store on shelves, and voila! I have a rolling gear box!
I am also heading to the hardware to get springs and such for fin straps..thanks all!
