Gear Rack

I just saw this in another forum - it looks very interesting!!

This is available for abot $80 for a single and about $90 for a double - the URL is DiveBuddy.com - Login - Global Social Network for Scuba Divers and the URL that shows a single rack with equipment is DiveBuddy.com - Login - Global Social Network for Scuba Divers

(Sorry - cannot upload the pictures - I hope that the links work!!)

Here are the pictures. Seems kinda pricey to me. It's just pvc pieces. That & some glue. However, it does look useful.

Yeah...that's $20 of pvc and an hour of work....

Plus, when they ship it to you, you'd have to assembled it anyways, right?

I was thinking to replace the top bits with a square frame and use my wetsuit, accessories and BC hangars to handle the stuff.

(BTW - thanks for posting the pictures!)

An instructor of mine had a similar setup, but his had a different PVC arrangement. He had strategicly drilled a bunch of tiny holes in the PVC, and attached a garden hose fitting to it. After a dive, he hung up his gear, turned the water on, and his gear got rinsed pretty thoroughly. When he turned the water off, everything was already hanging up to dry. It had wheels too, so he could rinse it outdoors and then push it into the garage.

Wow! That sounds pretty intense. I'd like to see pics of that get-up. I bet his neighbors were like, "What in the world is that crazy nut doing out there?!"

Ok, now you have my attention. I think of all the times I've hosed my gear down. This seems like a great idea.
