experience summary for logbook

Hey everyone

Well, I was bored and thinking about diving. So, when you put the two those together you get time spent on unimportant things related to diving!

In my old PADI log book there was a section for summarizing your experiences. I kind of enjoyed it, it was a way to know my stats quickly after a set amount of dives. The new logs I got from PADI no longer have that summary, so I recreated it with my own ideas. It is 5.5 x 8 for the planner size logs, but you can change it.

If you have never used one of these before, it works well after a "milestone" dive, which is subjective to you. Personally, I do one of these every 20th dive...that takes me 2-4 months to hit...some of you will do that in a week so you may need to do 100-200. Obviously, if I go dive numbers 39,40,41,42, I would put it after 42 even tho 40 is the "20th" dive.

Like I said, this isn't all that important, but I love stats and I was bored, so use it if you like.

well that's mighty nice of you to share
i love to load my dives from my dive computer to my laptop and look at all the graphs. sadly, i dont love stats so i dont really know what much of it means, but it's cool to play with

i do keep my logbook too. i've pulled it out more than once to compare notes with other divers who went to the same spot or remind myself of the place i almost "died"!! and of course the dive when i saw my first seahorse, my first shark, my first shark at nite..

i know i'm rambling but you said you were bored so i was just trying to break it up for ya

Poms are the only little dog I could ever own...they are GREAT!! I had a roommate that had one, and I loved that friggin dog...spastic as hell and feisty, but such a cute dog...of course it wasn't all dolled up and pretty...it looked like a long haired Tasmanian Devil. My dogs are German Shepard/Lab and GS/Collie mixes...so I get to beat on em!!

I wonder if Joe and Larry are going to count these posts...maybe we should stick to SCUBA or something

my black pom, Alex, loves to swim... he would be terrified of the mask so he'd never scuba but he dives down to the bottom of his 8" pool and swims around.. hehe.. i would love to take him scuba diving.
(how's that?.. yeah, you're probably right.. )

moving on
