Latex Dryhood?
I am wondering If many divers use a latex dryhood? I would like to hear pro's and con's, Is it worth using. I dive fresh Cold water, great lakes anywhere from 40 to 110 feet. I am using a Bare ATR HD drysuit with Bare tech dry hood. I have read the latex dryhoods keep your head dryer and warmer, any truth to this?
Thanks All! |

I use a latex dryhood on my Viking drysuit, most of the time my head is perfectly dry but if I goof when I put it on I'll get wet. When that happens it's pretty darn cold. I don't think it'd be any better or worse than what you have.
