My LDS gave me a very good deal on the DUI undies. I have no problem wearing fleece or polartech stuff that I get off of ebay.

"Undies, we don't need no stinkin' undies. Go NUDE (or at least in a thong brief)"

I'll use fleece on non deco dives, but I prefer thinsulate garments for most dives because they work when wet contrasted to fleece.

Carol Davis makes some good fleece garments by the way.

I bought a set of quilted fleece thermals off ebay from rondel....They were very cost effective, and good quality. he has 3 different thicknesses. Under $100 shipped eevn for the antarctic. I love mine and have bought 1 of each for less than the DUI stuff

Oh man... I've been in my drysuit in swim trunks and a t-shirt before, and its not an experience I care to relive.

I can't imagine a thong...

You're sick.

Worst mistake I ever made was swim trunks only in a drysuit. I promise you, I will not repeat that again. This probably applies only to membrane suits due to the unique biting nature of them.

To the OP: What are your local water temps? That would make a big difference as to which undergarments we'd recommend.

chea ebay drysuit undies from rondel are the best thign to happen to scuba since compressed air. I have this http://cgi.ebay.com/QUILTED-DRY-SUIT...QQcmdZViewItem and it works great for me. I have used this in temps down to the high 40s for around 40 minutes on multiple dives without getting too cold. Any colder adn I just toss on soem sweats underneath and i'm fine. If its warmer than the mid 60s i just wear sweats anyways. Hes cheap, fast, and hassle free.

I've used everything from heavy DUI thinsulate 400 to jeans (not real smart)and a tee shirt. It depends on the needs for the dive. I have no problem just using sweats during warmer water conditions, with the understanding that I'm going to come out damp due to condensation.
