Me Too !
I dive with a wet suit on under my drysuit when going deep and cold. But for shallower dives or warmer dives, I was considering a very light waterproof suit on over a 2 - 3 mm wet suit. Maybe even a windsurfer drysuit that doesn't have inflator or purge valves. They still have the wrist, neck and ankle seals to keep the water out, and if you are not going deep you won't need to worry about squeeze. The wetsuit under, will also obsorb some squeeze. The DUI 30/30 is expensive as well. Not sure it's worth the tropical dry suit comfort. Just a thought. FYI, I dive to 100 feet without adding air.

Wet under Dry ?
Well, I dive in cold water (43 degrees) and i don't care for the bulk of the dry suit thermals. I like the comfort of a wet suit and the ease of getting in/out of your dry. I also don't put (if any) air into my dry suit even though I dive up to 120 feet. The wetsuit helps with the squeeze better than thermals. I've seem many guys geting ready to dive, sweating, struggling to get in their dry suits. The wetsuit doesn't get wet, which keeps you warmer. So a 5 mm is plenty for 43 degrees. It actually works well for me.

There's a guy on ScubaBoard who uses one and swears by it (can't recall his screenname, sorry, I just remember reading his stories about it). It's mostly useful on liveaboards where you're doing 5+ dives per day over an extended period of time, then it seriously pays off. Most warm water tropical locations are warm enough I just don't see the need, again, unless you're doing the LOB thing for a solid week.
